I just had one of those retro flashbacks when I looked through an old article about the SEGA Saturn. And It´s kind of funny now that I think about. You see. I grew up playing on SEGA´s Master System and Mega Drive console in the late 80s and early 90s. Even so, I never bought the SEGA Saturn console. Then again, I don´t recall ever seeing a lot of TV-ads or magazine ads for the Saturn in Sweden. In the matter of fact, most of the Swedish Gaming media focused on Sony´s Playstation. So I was mainly playing on PS1, PC, MD and Snes at the time.
And truth be told, I only knew one single person in my town who owned a Saturn console. So there wasn´t all that many people who talked about the Saturn at school. So I knew very little about the console (I knew that it existed, but not enough to be interested in buying one). I should also point out that the Saturn was pretty expensive when it launched in Sweden (which it did in July, 1995).

I think it´s safe to say that the SEGA Saturn has never looked any better than it does in this picture.
However, around the year 2000, I started to realize that there are quite a few Saturn games worth owning (especially when it comes to Japanese imported games). And speaking of which, just the other day I heard about a Japanese SEGA Saturn fangirl called Polylina (Aka “SEGA Saturn GAL“). Well, what can I say? Besides the fact that I haven´t seen or heard about a person that´s more hardcore dedicated to the SEGA Saturn console than she is. And by the looks of the pictures that Polylina has uploaded to her social media accounts. She owns quite a few other games and consoles as well (she even owns her very own arcade machine).
So if you´re into SEGA Saturn (and retro games in general), then check out Polylina´s homepage plus social media pages for more pictures and information (you will find everything you need down below).
