It’s rather saddening that 2Awesome Studio´s neat comic book shoot-em-up game “Dimension Drive” is nowhere near it´s Kickstarter goal (which would be 30,000 Euro). Because at this moment “Dimension Drive” is about 15,000 Euro short, and there´s just 3 days left on the Kickstarter campaign now as well. So it´s going to take a real miracle to save the game now.
I honestly thought that “Dimension Drive” would make it on time though. As i found the game to be really awesome and entertaining. I also liked the fact that the game gave me some “Axelay” and “Titan A.E.” vibes. But obviously that was not enough to impress everyone.

I can´t be the only one that thought of “Axelay” and “Titan A.E.”, while i was playing “Dimension Drive”.
I also have to say that i enjoyed the puzzle elements and the ability to fight on two battlefields at once. As it gave “Dimension Drive” a really unique touch and offered a really cool gameplay experience. And i can´t say that i liked the female hero Jackelyne Tywood any less either, as she´s a schoolbook example on how you make a cool video game heroine.
So i sure hope that “Dimension Drive” will be funded somehow. As i would love to play the rest of the game asap.
