The long-awaited release of Alblune’s heartwarming debut title “The Spirit and the Mouse” is finally available to download on PC and Nintendo Switch!

The Spirit and the Mouse is a narrative adventure game about doing selfless acts of kindness for those in need. Lumion the Spirit Guardian has found himself trapped on the mortal plane, and the only being able to help return him to the sky is Lila, a tiny mouse with a big heart.

In order to restore light to the people of Sainte-et-Claire, our little rodent protagonist must wrangle mischievous spirits called Kibblins. By offering support to her community, Lila just might be able to restore Lumion’s power and bring joy to the people of this quaint French village.

The Spirit and the Mouse is a low-stress experience with lush environments and a soothing piano-driven soundtrack. This debut title by Montreal developer Alblune is sure to charm audiences of all ages with its heartwarming narrative, secrets to discover across Sainte-et-Claire, and a dedicated squeak button.

Lucie Lescuyer and Alexandre Stroukoff, the two developers of Alblune, said:

After a shocking thunderstorm brings them together, unlikely allies Lila the mouse and Lumion the Spirit guardian must work in tandem to restore balance to their quaint village. Thankfully, Lila has her big heart and electrifying new powers to aid her on this journey. Guide her through a heartwarming adventure across Sainte-et-Claire to befriend playful electric spirits called Kibblins and illuminate this village once more.

The Spirit and the Mouse is a narrative-focused adventure game that has you searching every nook and cranny of this world to complete objectives and collect items to aid you in your humble quest to assist those in need.

Listen to the villagers’ woes, then find the Kibblins who are running amok in order to fix the village’s newfound electricity problems. By doing good and working together with these lively spirits, Lila can then put Lumion back in the sky where he belongs!
