The Essen-based (Germany) indie games developer Dream Squircle today announced with great thrill and delight that their anime-styled thriller-mystery VN “ELEGIES: Aya” (a game which has been in development for over one years time now) is coming to Kickstarter on February 7th, 2023.

Furthermore, Dream Squircle has also just announce that they will release an updated version of their “ELEGIES: Aya” demo via Steam on January 31st, 2023. (the updated demo will feature English voice acting).

After losing his family in a fire, Zach wakes up in the hospital where he meets the still lively ghost Aya, who helps him overcome his trauma. Since she does not remember how she turned into a ghost, Zach decides to help her investigating her past.

Together, they uncover a dark conspiracy involving an unknown organization that will stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried. Zach and Aya must fight to survive as they race to uncover the truth behind Aya’s death and the secrets of the organization.

ELEGIES: Aya is a narrative thriller-mystery visual novel focusing on Zach and Aya as they help each other overcoming their hardships and grow closer together while getting on the trails of a secret organization.

The Kickstarter campaign for ELEGIES: Aya will start on February 7th, 2023. With our Kickstarter campaign we aim to further improve our game while also offering merchandise to our supporters.
