Press release:
The Austin-based (Texas, the US) indie games publisher Devolver Digital and Cape Town-based (South Africa) indie games developer Free Lives, are today very delighted and thrilled to announce that their ecological reverse city-builder “Terra Nil” is coming to PC via Steam this Spring (2023).

Terra Nil is an eco-conscious strategy game about turning a barren, lifeless wasteland into a vibrant, thriving ecosystem. Use advanced technology to purify soil, clean oceans, plant trees, and reintroduce wildlife—then recycle everything you’ve built and leave without a trace.

Playing Terra Nil is a chill, meditative, and deeply satisfying experience—which you can see for yourself in this brand new gameplay trailer.

Enjoy the peaceful ambient sounds of nature, lush hand-painted art, tactile animations, and a dreamy reactive soundtrack as you reclaim the wasteland and bring life back to a variety of environmentally distinct biomes. Saving the planet has never been so relaxing.
