The Skövde-based (Sweden) indie games developer Stunlock Studios are today very proud and happy to announce that they are going to release the “Secrets of Gloomrot” expansion for “V Rising” (Stunlock’s open-world vampire survival MMO hit PC game) this May (2023).

Furthermore, Stunlock Studios has also just announced that they have published a new “V Rising” blog post where you can read some brand-new info about the upcoming “Secrets of Gloomrot” expansion.

Introducing the vast and gruesome land of Gloomrot, where evil machinations have polluted the terrain, bringing forth untold horrors from the experiments that occurred there.

Also included are juicy details on increased customization options when constructing castles and a confirmation of the much-coveted multiple tiered castles, allowing mansions to transform into masterfully-built fortresses. Check out the dev blog for more information on how the V Rising experience will be expanded upon:

“This new biome will be almost the same size as Dunley Farmlands and is divided into two unique sections, Gloomrot South and Gloomrot North. Each area will bring a new wave of challenges, technologies, and enemies, both great and small, with plenty of space to stretch out and settle your multi-floor strongholds.”
