The Vienna-based (Austria) video games publisher and developer THQ Nordic and Budapest-based (Hungary) indie games developer Kite Games, are today very happy and excited to announce that their action-RTS/RPG “The Valiant”, is coming to Xbox (Xbox Series X/S and the Xbox One) and Playstation (PS5 and PS4) on July 11th, 2023.

You all bear witness to an unholy presence looming over mankind, an unspeakable evil that threatens our very existence. But fear not, for in The Valiant, you shall don the armor of Theoderich, a former crusader on a relentless mission to keep all hell from breaking loose.

As Theoderich, you and your fellowship of loyal warriors will embark on a dangerous odyssey through the vast expanse of medieval Europe and even the Holy Land, all in a valiant effort to prevent the plans of Ulrich von Grevel. This malevolent antagonist seeks to wield a powerful artifact known as the Rod of Aaron, a source of unimaginable and unholy power. The fate of humanity rests in your hands as you become part of this epic adventure.

Prepare yourself for an epic journey into an immersive new tactical RTS experience! Take command of specialized units, and strategically deploy their unique skills to triumph on the battlefield.

Watch as your units grow in expertise and strength, accumulating battle-hardened experience throughout the gripping 15-mission single-player campaign. Alternatively, join forces with two allies in the intense Last Man Standing co-op mode, where hordes of enemies test your mettle or prove your worth as a knight in intense PvP battles.

The Valiant is set to conquer the realms of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X, launching on July 11th, 2023, at an SRP of €24.99 / $24.99 / £19.99. For PC gamers, the adventure has already begun as the game is available now.
