The Nicosia-based (Cyprus) indie games publisher HypeTrain Digital and São Paulo-based (Brazil) indie games develop0er BEHEMUTT are today very happy and excited to announce that their base building/open world 2D game “Nova Lands“, is coming to PC (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch) on June 22nd, 2023.

The game will skip the originally planned Early Access phase and immediately launch in its full version on PC (Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One, as announced at The Guerrilla Collective.

Nova Lands is a base building, exploration, and survival game with automation mechanics. Explore, engage in combat, and automate your industry. The planet you’re on is full of mysteries, creatures, people, and things to do. Welcome to your new home amongst the stars!

Your task is to extract resources needed for the Earth using your trusty extraction tool. Once you start gathering resources, you can construct factories that will provide you with new materials. The more possibilities you unlock, the more efficient your base will become.

But you’re not just a Survivor in Nova Lands; you’re also an Explorer. To help you with simple tasks while you explore other islands, we’ve designed a team of self-sufficient bots that can work autonomously. These bots can form production chains, defend you and other bots from aggressive creatures, and turn your base into a fortress.

Venture to new islands, each with its own biomes, creatures, materials, landmarks, and secrets. Be cautious, as every cave, bush, and grain of sand may hold something interesting and mysterious. Along the way, you’ll encounter other NPCs who can offer upgrades or helpful items for trade.

Once you start your planetary industry, you’ll be able to sell extracted resources to other planets and earn kredits (currency name, there is no mistake!). These kredits can be used to purchase new upgrades and content, so get ready to explore and trade.

Now it’s time to take the journey to the next level by producing a shuttle that will allow you to travel to the Space Station – a dedicated hub where you can meet new NPCs, purchase new skins for the character, buy blueprints to develop new technologies on your planet, and even purchase your own house.
