Fire Hose is proud to share the official release date for “Techtonica“. The first-person factory automation game will launch into Early Access on Steam on July 18th, 2023.

“Techtonica” will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass for Windows, Xbox Series X | S, and Xbox One.

“We’re trying to break new ground in the automation genre with Techtonica,” shared Eitan Glinert, President of Fire Hose Games.

“We’re delivering a factory game with a fully voiced narrative that gives purpose to building factories. It’s a sci-fi mystery that demands automation ingenuity to unravel.”

Techtonica is set on the alien world of Calyx, a rogue planet drifting through space. Players must dig below the surface, explore a vibrant cave system teeming with bioluminescent life, and piece together the mystery of what went wrong with the help of glowing, talking cubes somehow inhabited by the spirits of dead astronauts from the expedition.

Techtonica enters Early Access with the support of a passionate, growing community who first got their hands on the game during the closed Alpha that launched on July 19th, 2022. The community has had a huge hand in shaping Techtonica through feedback and suggestions, and it will continue to serve as the guiding light for development through early access.

Techtonica is available for Wishlist on Steam now, and the store page includes additional screenshots and gameplay information.
