The Wakefield-based (the UK) indie games publisher and developer Team 17 and Warsaw-based (Poland) indie games developer Covenant.dev, are today very happy and excited to announce that their dark fantasy strategy game “Gord”, is now available for PC (via Steam and GOG) and consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S).

Adventurers and wanderers can summon a digital or physical standard edition or Deluxe Edition*, the latter of which includes the additional ‘Hold Your Ground’ scenario for the game’s ‘Custom Scenarios’ mode, Gord’s haunting original soundtrack, and an art book exploring Covenant.dev’s journey in realising the game’s mythical and ruthless world.

Created by a team that includes former Frostpunk and The Witcher 3 developers, Gord is a single-player dark fantasy strategy game where, to survive, you must build, but to prevail, you must conquer the darkness beyond the gates. Complete life-threatening quests in a dark fantasy world while managing a populace whose personal stories and well-being can decide the fate of your tribe.

Customize your playthrough by picking a main objective, choosing your starting party, level size, number of resources, enemy types, raid intensities, and even the severity of the weather.
