The Marina del Rey-based (CA, the US) VR studio Kluge Interactive (the veteran VR studio behind the top-rated rhythm game “Synth Riders”) today announced with great joy and excitement that they are going to kick-off an open PC beta for their Street Fighter-inspired VR fighting game “FINAL FURY” in early 2024 (the said beta will be available via Meta Quest and SteamVR).

Further adding to the excitement, the studio also unveiled new gameplay featuring never-before-seen characters during the IGN & UploadVR Showcase.

Inspired by the golden age of arcade fighters, FINAL FURY promises epic head-to-head matches, immersive visuals, innovative controls, a varied roster of characters, and fast-paced gameplay tailored for newcomers and veterans alike.

Highlights from today’s captivating new trailer include exclusive gameplay footage, atmospheric cinematics, and two new characters: Lida—a master manipulator who commands a legion of deadly scarabs—and Valdan—a revenant who uses an infernal blade to exact his vengeance upon other fighters.

Along with the Open Beta invitation and gameplay trailer, the developer has also confirmed the list of features and modes coming to the game at launch:
