Press release:
Washington, United States – October 22nd, 2026 – Solo indie dev Jeffrey Nordin is today thrilled to announce his atmospheric, first-person puzzle adventure The House Dreams Along With Them, will launch for PC via Steam on November 10th.
To coincide with the announcement, an enigmatic new trailer has been released, which sets an oneiric tone; teasing the esoteric meta-mysteries that await those who enter the house.
A puzzle game with an emphasis on interactivity and existential horror, The House Dreams Along With Them is inspired by non-violent, atmospheric forebears of the genre. Players will explore, interact, sleep and dream in a highly enigmatic house; using their intuition and curiosity to uncover the secrets and shape of this strange abode.
Featuring layers-upon-layers of cryptic and metafictional puzzle-solving, the game tells a subtle tale of cosmic horror with themes of recursion, metafiction, reality and dreams, identity, and empathy for things that appear monstrous.
As the puzzlebox-like house sheds its secrets, fears of isolation and existential ennui will surface, with each discovery leading toward the enigmatic “reification of night”.
