The Berlin-based (Germany) indie games developer Nudge Nudge Games are today super happy and excited to announce that their open-world sandbox survivor “Nimoyd“, is coming to PC via Steam EA this Summer (2024).

Furthermore, Nudge Nudge Games has also just announced that “Nimoyd” is going to take part in the June edition of Steam NextFest.

In “Nimoyd” players will get to explore a colorful world, build cities, fight their way through dungeons, and make sparks fly with a diverse range of romanceable NPCs. Nimoyd can be wishlisted on Steam here.

In Nimoyd, you play as an alien fighting to save the world and free your species from the oppressive alien empire known as The Dominion. As Nimoyd, you’ll explore the world and collect resources to build a settlement. You’ll also collect allies in the fight against The Dominion, many of whom can be romanced for additional story beats and bonuses. Learn more about the diverse cast of characters that join Nimoyd in his battle against The Dominion by advancing relationships, which help inform narrative decisions that impact the overall game.

In Nimoyd, the sky’s the limit – players can build their world however they want to shape their story, from handcrafting a cozy village by the sea to fully mechanizing a continent of factories. With decision-based progression and resource-based building, every playthrough of Nimoyd is a unique experience.

After releasing a demo in 2021, the team at Nudge Nudge Games did a complete overhaul of Nimoyd, including changing the game from 2D to 3D graphics. On top of the new art style, the game has 24 heroes that contribute to the story, infrastructure that lets players connect their cities and villages, and procedurally generated dungeons with terrifying beasts.
