Press release:
The Warsaw-based (Poland) indie games publisher Pretty Soon and indie games developer Syphono4, today announced with great thrill and happiness that their active-incremental game “Lyca“, is coming to PC via Steam on April 7th (2025).
Lyca is a small, solo-developed active-incremental game starring a magical wolf and a vast upgrade tree: zoom across a barren wasteland to restore lush vibrant nature – one meadowy plop at a time.
Lyca is coming to Steam on April 7, 2025 – press review keys are available now!
But it’s not just about Lyca, it’s about a whole new sub-genre.
Lyca joins a refreshing movement exploding on Steam right now. Active-incremental games are a gameplay-first evolution of classic clickers and idle games – sublimely minimalist, deeply satisfying, and perfect for a relaxed few-hour session.
In the past few months alone games like Nodebuster and Digseum drew in hundreds of thousands of players ready for short-form incremental games that deliver all the upgrade satisfaction in a wonderfully concise package.
What’s magical about Lyca:
A very good wolf plops down lush meadows
An extensive incremental upgrade tree
Many chill lo-fi beats by Purrple Cat
Early previews including DangerouslyFunny, Wanderbots, and RealCivilEngineer
About Pretty Soon;
Pretty Soon is an indie games publisher on a simple mission: to be the best choice for solo developers and small teams.
