Madrid, September 1, 2026. Next Wednesday, September 16, devINITIVE Showcase celebrates its second edition following the great reception of the first. Over the course of two hours, the event will bring together a selection of independent Spanish and Latin American video games, featuring world premieres, exclusive demos, and release dates. The organizing team selected games from more than 250 submissions received, resulting in a final lineup of around 90 titles for this edition.

The event aims to establish itself as one of the year’s must-see events for discovering new video games and giving visibility to independent talent, connecting developers, publishers, media, and players from around the world.

Organization

devINITIVE Showcase is organized by Caye (@lovelyindies) and Panchi (@djpanchi1), the same team that led the first edition.

The broadcast will be streamed live on the official YouTube channel, at these times:

Mexico: 1:00 PM

Ecuador, Peru, Panama, Colombia: 2:00 PM

Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Chile, Venezuela: 3:00 PM

Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina: 4:00 PM

Spain: 9:00 PM

As in the previous edition, a special Steam page will also be available for one week, featuring the titles shown during the showcase organized by country, along with a section dedicated to demos and another for titles already released this year.

About the showcase
It was born with the aim of becoming a meeting point for the industry and the community, offering a space where independent video games can be discovered and celebrated, regardless of their size or origin.
