I got some really good news to share for those who are fans of retro arcade games. You see, New Old Pixels just informed us that they aim to bring the original ‘Toki’ arcade game, to original retro hardware:
“Hi,
I’m happy to announce that New Old Pixels has signed a licensing agreement with Microids to bring the original Toki arcade game, created by TAD Corporation in 1989, to original retro hardware.
Our ambition is to bring the original arcade game to retro consoles and computers that never received an arcade conversion back in the day, staying as faithful as possible to its gameplay, graphics, animation and audio.
“Toki is exactly the kind of project we created New Old Pixels for: giving retro machines the conversions of great arcade games they never got back in the day.”
The ports will be released as physical editions for the original hardware. Target platforms will be revealed at a later date.
You can read the full announcement on the New Old Pixels website:

In other words, New Old Pixels is breathing new life into ‘Toki’. So with that said, are you guys and girls excited about this news? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
