Press release:
Milan, Italy – 6 October 2026. There is nowhere to hide. Indie developer Tenkarider, alongside publisher Tambù Digital, today launches Lostbound on PC via Steam, inviting players to enter a world where every step could be their last.

In Lostbound, the world is constantly changing, and every move you make can determine how long you survive. As players explore a mysterious, ever-shifting world, a relentless force known only as The Hand follows in their footsteps, destroying the ground behind them and steadily closing off their escape.

The only way forward is to keep moving, but moving without a plan can be just as dangerous as standing still.

THE WORLD IS YOUR ENEMY

Every step in Lostbound leaves a permanent mark on the world. Retrace your route too many times, and The Hand will begin to consume the path behind you, forcing players to constantly think ahead and decide where to go next.

As routes disappear and safe ground becomes increasingly scarce, exploration becomes a strategic challenge. The world may offer a tempting shortcut, a valuable artifact or a mysterious dungeon, but taking the wrong path could leave you with nowhere to run.

DIVE DEEPER. GET STRONGER.

Scattered throughout the world are shadowy dungeons filled with powerful artifacts that can dramatically shape each run. Finding the right combination of tools and abilities is key to surviving longer and pushing further into the unknown.

But there is always a price for staying too long.

When night falls, The Hand emerges to hunt you through the darkness, turning exploration into a race against time. Players must decide when to push deeper, when to take the rewards on offer and when it is time to run.

NO TWO JOURNEYS ARE THE SAME

Every run in Lostbound presents a new challenge. Randomly generated worlds and artifact placements create different routes, opportunities and builds, forcing players to adapt rather than rely on a single strategy.

Failure is part of the journey. Each attempt offers new knowledge, new possibilities and another chance to push further into the cursed world.

Learn the routes. Experiment with different builds. Take bigger risks.

Then see how far you can go.

CAN YOU BREAK THE CURSE?

At the centre of Lostbound is a simple question: how far are you willing to go when the world itself is trying to stop you?

With its combination of retro-inspired exploration, roguelite progression and an ever-present threat that literally destroys the path behind you, Lostbound puts survival down to every decision.

The Hand is waiting.
