London, 8th October 2026 – PQube and Sumo Digital are thrilled to announce that their stealth adventure game, Spyder: Agent 8, will launch on 11th February 2027!

Agent 8 will crawl into action digitally on PC (via Steam® and Epic Games Store), PlayStation® 5, XBOX Series X|S and Nintendo Switch™, alongside a physical release on PlayStation® 5. Players will also be able to dive into action digitally on the Nintendo Switch™ 2, with the newly announced platform launching on the same day. To celebrate the announcement, an all-new Release Date Trailer was revealed, offering a closer look at what players can expect from the retro-futuristic 1970s spy thriller!

In Spyder: Agent 8, the world’s smallest spy is tasked with their biggest mission yet! Players take on the role of Agent 8, a cute robotic spider created by the Secret Agent Facilitation Enterprise (S.A.F.E.) to infiltrate spaces no human spy could reach. Equipped with sticky feet and an arsenal of high-tech gadgets, they have everything they need to stop the Syndicate of International Nasties (S.I.N.) and save the world.

Set across a series of globe-spanning missions, players will see the world from an entirely new perspective as they climb, crawl and explore proportionally oversized environments. From rescuing stranded astronauts to halting runaway trains, they will need to use Agent 8’s robotic agility and cutting-edge technology to outsmart security, solve intricate environmental puzzles and ultimately thwart S.I.N.’s dastardly plans.

Players can get hands-on with Spyder: Agent 8 in the newly released Steam demo, which features a wealth of updates based on player feedback!
