Press release:
DALLAS, TX (October 19, 2026) | Apogee Entertainment and developers Rafael Martín and Kyle Creamer today announced that the cozy adventure Littlelands will launch into Steam Early Access on November 16, 2026.

Ahead of its Early Access debut, players can begin their adventure today with an expanded Littlelands demo, available now as part of Steam Next Fest. Following the warm reception to its first public demo, the team has incorporated community feedback alongside new character customization options, improved combat, a minimap, quality-of-life additions, and more.

Set in a charming world of charming big-headed characters and vibrant, claymation-like landscapes, Littlelands is a cozy life-sim adventure where players are free to experience the world at their own pace. Grow berries, fish, hunt for treasure, explore mysterious caves and dungeons, meet quirky locals, or simply find a wooden bench and watch the sunset.

Begin Your Adventure Before Early Access

Since the release of the original demo, the Littlelands team has been listening closely to player feedback and working to make exploring Littlelands smoother, more customizable, and more intuitive.

The updated Steam Next Fest demo offers a taste of those improvements, including:

Improved Combat Mechanics: Lock onto enemies, circle your target, and dodge incoming attacks with an improved combat system that makes encounters smoother and more responsive.

Expanded Character Customization: Create an even more personalized adventurer with new hairstyles, eyes, facial cosmetics, clothes, hats, and other customization options.

New Minimap: A community-requested minimap makes navigating towns, trails, and the wider Littlelands easier than ever.

Smoother Controls: Updated default controls make exploring, interacting, and adventuring more intuitive, with button rebinding available for both gamepad and mouse & keyboard.

Camera Auto-Rotation: Mouse & keyboard players can enable automatic camera rotation for a smoother exploration experience.

Focus Glow: An optional visual effect can highlight objects that can be picked up or interacted with.

FPS Cap: Players can now select an FPS cap through the graphics settings.

English & Spanish Support: Explore the Littlelands in either English or Spanish.

Players can put the improved combat system to the test against the creatures roaming the world, including a showdown with the demo’s Goblin Boss, or forget about fighting altogether and spend the day fishing, farming, decorating, treasure hunting, and meeting the locals.

“We hope everyone enjoys our cozy quest with this smoother and more customizable demo,” said developer Rafael Martín.

“We’re looking forward to seeing what cool characters people create with the new hairstyles, clothes, and hats!”
