I was finally able to find an SFV player that could show me some SFV v1.04 Cammy gameplay footage, because it was somewhat unclear if the picture of Cammy´s censored nipples where legit or not. Well, I have just watched Not one Of Us SFV Youtube video. And if I have not gone blind since last night, then I would say that Capcom has indeed censored Cammy´s nipples in the v1.04 patch. However, I´m going to let you judge that for yourself, just compare Not one Of Us SFV v1.04 video with this pre SFV v1.04 video.

I was just informed that some Steam mods have started to delete and lock some of the “Street Fighter V threads over at the SFV Steam forum, due to discussions about the endless self-censorship in SFV (as seen in the picture down below). And by the looks of it, it appears as if the mods don´t like when people discuss SJW mentality and censorship. Nevertheless, right now I´m trying to get a hold of some PC and PS4 SFV players who can confirm that Capcom has censored Cammy in the 1.04 patch of SFV.

I guess that the Steam mods don’t like that people talk about self-censorship in games?

I honestly don´t know if I should laugh or cry when it comes to Capcom and “Street Fighter V”, because there seems to be no end to Capcom´s censorship madness. And to quote myself, I said the following about Capcom and their “self-censorship” of SFV back in November last year:

“If Capcom gets the idea that it´s alright to censor their games, then who knows what more Capcom will end up censoring?” – Robin Ek, TGG

And since I´ve written articles such as this for the last 6-7 months:

I sadly enough have to admit that I was right about my SFV predictions. As Capcom has kept on censoring one female fighter after another in SFV…And just the other day I was informed that Capcom appears to have censored Cammy´s breast nipples in the latest patch of SFV (as seen in the picture down below). Well, what can I say? I mean, not so long ago Capcom censored Juri. So I guess that it was bound to happen since Capcom is picking SFV apart piece by piece, by censoring the game down to nothing.

So, breast nipples are too much for Capcom now? (uncensored Cammy to the left, and the censored version of Cammy to the right).

And all of this actually made me wonder what Capcom will censor next? For example, will all the female SFV fighters have to cover up their legs and hair in the near future? (the leg part actually made me think about the Cammy “incident” at the CEO 2016 event with Ashley Riot). And keep in mind that Capcom released SFV in February this year. So all this censorship has been done in less than five months time. And that´s also why I can´t help to wonder in what kind of condition SFV will be in a couple of months henceforth? (in terms of censorship). Well, apparently I´m far from the only one that has thoughts like that:

Sure, it´s no big deal for the PC folks, since PC users can use mods to remove censorship (to be exact, you add back content which Capcom removed) from SFV. However, it´s not as easy for the console users. In other words, what you see and experience in SFV today, might be removed and gone for life by tomorrow. So if Capcom keeps on censoring SFV in the same pace which they have done uptil this point. Then I take it that all of the female SFV fighters will wear a burqa by sometime next year? (it sounds like a safe bet to me).
