I have to admit that it´s rather expensive to be a top-notch PC Gamer. Because if you want to stay on top of your game. Then you have to upgrade your Gaming PC at least one or two times per year.

Because in the world of PC´s (or technology in general) 1 year is a lot of time.

New graphic cards get released almost every second month now. And both Intel and AMD pushes the boundaries for what CPU´s can do.

Then you got the memory department. DDR3 has been around for quite some time now.

That´s old news. But i had no idea that the DDR4 memory had been released on the market. But it´s true, both Crucial and Corsair have DDR4 memory’s for sale at the moment.

The DDR4 memory sticks are rather expensive though. At least if you want a memory that´s 2800Mhz.

Then the cheapest one costs about $520 (Corsair 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 2800MHz CL16 VENGEANCE LPX), and the most expensive one about $720 (Corsair 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 2800MHz CL15 DOMIN).

But due to the fact that i will get a new PC sometime next year (a 8 or 12 CPU core PC) i might just pick up some DDR4 memory while i´m at it as well.
