Today is a very good day if you just happen to like WWII flight arcade games, because this morning Naps Team informed me per e-mail that they will release their action-adventure air combat game “Iron Wings” on the 1st of June via Steam:

“Hi Guys,

Against all odds we did it , with our efforts and passionas I IRON WINGS is real, now completed and Launches on the 1st of June. Let me say, we are out few months after the KS campaign, not after 2/3 years like other successfully KS titles, or TBD after 5 years. So even the simple news about game Launch is very important to us. To let people know the existence of IRON WINGS is a big push for us, and its also a drink of fresh water in a desert of flight games since many years, also considering AC is moved to 2018

IRON WINGS isn’t just a new-generation WWII flight game. Because it follows the path of two very unique and brave souls, and those souls would be Jack (a Afro-American guy) and Amelia (a white woman) who become pilots in the 40s into a special squadron called Iron Wings. The story and characters in the game are fictional , although based on true events. Arcade controls or Simulation controls its up to the player!

We developed and advanced brand new realtime cut scene events, but of course it could be disabled to play the game the good old fashion way.” – Naps Team

In “Iron Wings” you (the player) take on the role as Jack and Amelia (two pilots), and it´s your job to try to take down the Nazi aerial menace (which you will get a chance to do through an action intense campaign full of different missions).
