Some people doesn’t quite understand what “alpha” means. Because apparently Ten Tree Games has had some trouble with trolls giving their game “10 Years After” really bad grades on Desura (and mean and evil comments as well).

Well for those who don´t understand this. An alpha version means that the game in question is nowhere near the final product. It´s as easy as that.

The whole idea behind an alpha is to give people a chance to see (and feel) what the game is all about, and what the developer hope to achieve.

It´s also a way to get feedback from the players. About bugs, ideas, fixes and so on. But even though 10 Years After is still at very early alpha stage, i´m still quite impressed by the game.
