New York Comic-Con held October 9-12, is one of the top five of popular comic conventions in the United States, located in Manhattan New York.

This year it out did itself having an attendance rate of 151,000 surpassing San Diego. The California con keeps their maximum cap at 133,000 attendance.

New York monitored by ReedPop has attendees getting their tickets in advanced when opening up sales online, they also do some comic book stores around the area that were selling tickets. Tickets typically sell out of 3 day badges 20 minutes to 30 after the online badge registration opens.

Yep, Capcom showcased “Resident Evil: Revelations 2” at NY Comic-Con 14.

New York Comic-Con this year had big promotion of the last season of Video Game High school having banners and advertisement inside of the Javits Center entrances.

They had big names like the entire cast of Archer answering questions, Seth Green, some of The Walking dead actors, cast members of game of thrones Kristian Nairn and Edward Norton and Michael Keaton promoting their new movie “Birdman” and Walking Dead had a featured panel Andrew Lincoln and executive producer Glenn Mazzara as well as executive producers Robert Kirkman and Gale Anne Hurd.

Magneto and Iron-Man paid New York Comic-Con 2014 a little visit.

Moderated by Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick, The Walking Dead panel, which took place in the IGN Theater on Saturday, October 13 and additional cast members participating in the panel include Norman Reedus, Chandler Riggs, Danai Gurira, David Morrissey and Michael Rooker spoke at their own panel at NYCC, and many more famous faces.

Yep, “Video Game High School” is still alive and kicking.

They also had big company setting up booths and some booths even had promotional models/cosplayers working for their booths. Capcom, Project Triforce, Marvel and Brave Frontier were many of the amazing companies that were showcasing their works and items in New York.

No Comic-Con is complete without Batman.

Some booths were also giving away free con swag giving out free t-shirts, bags and even comics, makeup and more to con-goers. This year NYCC had a new event called the New York Super Week, October 3-12, ReedPOP will run what it’s terming a “week-long immersive and inclusive experience,” featuring concerts, live radio shows and podcasts, game shows and more.

There´s a lot of awesome Marvel action figures to collect.

All leading to New York Comic Con, and for the people who sign up for the New York Super Week Card will receive priority seating at various concerts, comedy shows and other events — tickets to said events must be purchased separately — drink specials at a variety of bars, as well as discounts on a number of NYC tours and merchandise from NY-based comic stores.

The Super Week Card does not include access to the Comic Con itself. New York Comic-Con increases in popularity from their dynamic comic book artists, panels for current films, television, and video games with exclusive announcements and as mentioned before exclusive guests makes NYCC stand out from many comic cons around the states.

They have a strong security as well when checking bag and weapons at the entrance and exits and the badge owners get in by pressing their badge onto the tablets security has to check and see if it is a real badge.

The panel system was also well-organized having people line up in the morning for the panel of their own choice. If making some plans to go to NYCC next year, be sure to pick up a map of the convention center so the layout and areas are easier to locate upon thousands of other Con-goers.
