I have seen, played and heard about a lot of different games since the late 80s. Even so, I still can’t remember the last time I heard of a ski stations builder/physics sandbox game (I have tried skiing once in real life, and I “almost” broke my darn legs! So I’m just going to ski in the world of games, you know, just to be on the safe side?). Well, that’s exactly what Huge Calf Studios game “Carried Away” is all about, and speaking of which. Guess three times who contacted us today? Yes, you guessed it, Huge Calf Studios, and they told us the following:

“Dear Robin,

CARRIED AWAY, the first physics based puzzle sandbox in which you can design and build ski lifts, jumps and bridges, will be released in October on Steam. The title will appear in Early Access and will remain like that for about 6-12 months. The game represents a refreshing icy breeze to the bridge building genre. With a limited budget you will have to construct chairlifts, drag lifts, gondolas, jumps and bridges to help skiers navigate a range of mountain terrain. The game will contain 50 levels and a stage editor so you can share your challenging creations with the Community. CARRIED AWAY is developed by the three-men indie studio Huge Calf. This is the first title of an enthusiastic team passionate on video games.”Huge Calf Studios

“Carried Away” will be released via Steam Early Access to Windows, MAC and Linux in October this year (the full version will launch some time next year).

Yes, that’s correct, “Carried Away” is coming to Steam this October (the Early Access version). So if you like what you’ve read about the game so far, then you might want to keep your eyes open for “Carried Away” (you will find a trailer for the game down below).

And with that said, what’s your take on “Carried Away” so far? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
