Madrid, Spain, January 26th 2017: At last, after becoming one of the most influential titles on the digital indie scene, Axiom Verge finally arrives in physical format on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. Nintendo Wii U version, also previously announced, will be available soon.

The luxurious Axiom Verge: Multiverse Edition box includes, along with Thomas Happ’s game in physical format: a 32-page art book, full of sketches and characters and pixel-art scenarios; a double-sided poster with an illustration on one side and a map of the game marked with the location of the main items on the other; a making of in blu-ray format produced by 2 Player Productions with five hours of footage. The Nintendo Switch version includes, in addition to the above-mentioned content, an audio CD with the game soundtrack, consisting of 18 chip-tune tracks.

Along with the Multiverse Edition, Axiom Verge will also come with no extras in the PS4 and Nintendo Switch formats, for those users who prefer to get just the physical edition of the game. The game, developed entirely by Thomas Happ over the course of five years, has garnered all sorts of praise from the press and users, as well as numerous awards such as the “Editor’s Choice 2015” of the PlayStation® Blog, Hardcore Gamer’s “Best of 2015”, Giant Bomb’s “Top Games of 2015”, among others. After an accident at his lab, Trace wakes up in Sudra, a weird alien world. Not sure if he’s been moved to another planet (space) or to distant future (time) – or if he’s trapped in an elaborate computer simulation – Trace begins his challenge of defeating Athetos and uncovering Sudra secrets.
