I have to admit that it feels somewhat unreal that it’s been over a year since I wrote my post about Studio Stobie’s retro-like puzzle platformer “Rising Dusk”, because it feels like it was just yesterday that I wrote that post. Anyways, I haven’t heard a word about “Rising Dusk since 2017.

rising dusk death and me

“16-bit meets Studio Ghibli art style” – That’s pretty much what I thought when I saw “Rising Dusk” for the first time.

So as you might imagine, I got quite surprised when I found out that the full version of the game launched to PC about one month ago (“Rising Dusk” was released to Windows and MAC on the 28th of July, to be exact). Yes, that’s right, “Rising Dusk” is out now via Steam =) (the game is all yours for five Euros) And so far it seems like people are really enjoying the game (the game’s Steam feedback and reviews are very positive at this time).

“Studio Stobie” is said to offer over 20 levels for the players to explore and conquer (there are also hidden items, secret exits and more to be found).

I would also like to point out that less than a month ago Studio Stobie released a really cool launch trailer for “Rising Dusk” (you can watch the said trailer further down the page). So it might be a good idea to watch that trailer if you’re still not quite sure if “Rising Dusk” is your kind of game or not. However, if you do like what you’ve seen from “Rising Dusk”, then you probably don’t want to miss out on the full release.

As for me, I’m going to review “Rising Dusk” as soon as possible.
