I´ve seen quite a few crazy projects on both Kickstarter and indiegogo over the years. But nothing quite like Sebastião Teixeira and Cesaria Martins panties project “Pixel panties“.
Which would be exactly what it sounds like. Pixelated panties for women, cool huh?.
And when saw their indiego video for the first time today (the project was fully funded back in July last year though, over $21,000 was collected in total!).
I just thought for myself “how did they even come up with this idea in the first place?”. Well, apparently Sebastião and Cesaria came up with the idea for pixel panties when they dreamed about sexy women in pixelated lingerie (Leisure Suit Larry anyone?).
But that dream is now a reality. However, it seems like all the pixel panties is all sold-out until sometime this month.
So, what do you guys (and girls) think about pixel panties? Is it a great idea? Or just sexy gimmick?
About Pixel panties:
We’re two designers based in Lisbon, Portugal. After a night of intense video gaming we had a dream about sexy women in pixelated lingerie. We’ve always been told to follow our dreams. So that’s what we did. The next day we started designing what would become the world’s first 8-bit underwear.
We called them Pixel Panties — Made with squares, fit for round bottoms. They’re designed for people like us, who love retro games and 8 bit visuals but couldn’t find a way to make them fashionable and sexy. These panties make that possible.
