Oh joy! There will be an brand-new standalone prequel to “Wolfenstein: The New Order“! And it´s called “Wolfenstein: The Old Blood” (made by MachineGames).

And the plot takes place in 1946, and you (the player) get´s to control BJ Blazkowicz once again, throughout 8 different chapters (and two interconnected stories).

And  chapter 1 (The Old Blood) will be released on the 5th of May (digitally) to PC and next-gen consoles (at the price of $19,99/£14,99/19,99 Euro).

So it seems like the nazis won´t be getting a relaxing summer break this year, if you don´t count broken bones and gunshot wounds as relaxing.

And oh! Bethesda will live stream “Wolfenstein: The Old Blood” at Pax East this week. So don´t miss out on that!
