BREDA, NETHERLANDS – 02/04/2019 – Emissive Games has launched the Kickstarter campaign of their debut title. Retro Rockets will be available as a free demo on Steam during this campaign.

Retro Rockets is an asymmetrical multiplayer game with a retro-futuristic aesthetic. In the game, a group of Retronauts is pitted against a murderous robotic killer, Destructo. They will have to complete their objectives and survive in order to be victorious.

“Retro Rockets has been under development for the past 2 years and we are getting close to releasing it!”, says Rick Meeuwes of Emissive Games.

“The goal of this Kickstarter is to turn a long time dream into reality; release our full game, Retro Rockets, at the end of this year”.

Retro Rockets takes a lighter approach on the killer survivor genre, mixing grave and whimsical situations in a gorgeous 70’s sci-fi setting. All of this while listening to a groovy soundtrack!

Getting killed as a Retronaut (survivor) will not mean the end for you. These players return as a Securobot, that can defend survivors or avenge yourself and hunt down the killer. In doing so turning the tables on Destructo.
