You know, on a personal level. I’ve had quite a journey when it comes to covering the development process of Invader Studios’ third-person survival horror game “Daymare: 1998” (not everyone might know it, but “Daymare: 1998” actually started off as the “Resident Evil 2: Reborn” project).
I mean, I heard about “Daymare: 1998” for the first time back in June of 2017, and I did my/our interview with Invader Studios just a couple of months later.
So yes, things went very fast forward indeed (I was more or less put into the “info-loop” from the very start of the “Daymare: 1998” project).
Well, let’s just say that a lot of things have happened since 2017. For starters, “Daymare: 1998” has evolved a whole lot over the years, and the PC version was released back in September of this year (the game has received a lot of positive feedback and reviews via Steam).
Other than that, Invader Studios also just released their free “H.A.D.E.S Dead End” content update for “Daymare: 1998”! And as freaking awesome as that might be, that’s just the half of it.
You see, Invader Studios just had us know that “Daymare: 1998” is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One at the very start of next year (2020):
“We got some very exciting news for you!
It is finally time to tell you about the console releases date of “DAYMARE: 1998”! We can confirm Q1 2020 as the release date for PS4 and XBOX One! The first definitive date is for Japan, 20.02.2020!
So spread the message!” – Invader Studios
Nice indeed, and “Daymare: 1998” will have it’s PS4 and Xbox One world premiere in Japan on the 20th of February next year. As for the Western console release of the game, well, Western PS4 and Xbox One players should be able to play “Daymare: 1998” sometime in early 2020 (Q1) as well.
So with that said, are you excited for the PS4 and Xbox One release of “Daymare: 1998”?
