The isometric cyberpunk RPG “Gamedec” is coming to PC on September 16th, 2021

The Poland-based indie games publisher and game developer Gamedec today announced with great joy and pride that their isometric cyberpunk RPG “Gamedec” is coming to PC via Steam, God, and the Epic Games Store on September 16th this year (2021).

Being a gamedec is no easy task. You spend more than half of your life lying on the couch, with life-supporting chemicals flowing in your veins and a VR helmet on, stimulating your brain to a point where you see, feel, smell, and taste things that aren’t real. But then again, who said that what you experience in realium is more real than what’s going on in countless virtual gaming worlds? People party in them, meet new friends, do business, have sex, and – what’s most important to you – keep being human. And that means cheating, stealing, or even killing – quite often more audaciously or brutally than in real life.

That’s why professionals like you, game detectives, came to be needed. A specific skillset comes at a price, though, so make sure your profit comes first, keep your eyes on the prize, don’t let the trail get cold, and remember that the game is always on.

Gamedec is an authentic RPG experience where every decision is important and comes with consequences. The world in which you live adapts to each decision you make. As the story progresses, your hero adapts as well. Just like in “real” life, the consequences of your choices can be immediate, long-term, or stay hidden, surfacing only when you least expect them. Whatever you decide, the game will remain neutral without judging your choices or suggesting “better” options. It is up to you to evaluate what you’ve done. Anshar Studios returns to the foundations of the RPG genre with their new game, built on mechanics such as Deduction, the Codex, and Aspects.
