Microsoft is creating something great for those who want to have shorter conversations faster. Chat messaging is coming to Microsoft Outlook in the form of IM or Text. This new feature is a quick and easy tool that comes packed with pre entered responses that can help fill the void of the lost conversation.
Although you can only send and receive short emails, it does come built-in with IT tools for developers. For now this tool is Co only on IOS in the US and Canada. It will be coming to Android and Windows phone soon, but you’ll need Office 365 business or an 365 education account to access it.
Microsoft’s description of Send:
“While tools like text messaging and IM are great for short messages, you often don’t have your co-worker’s cell phone number or an IM app on your work phone. And we’ve heard loud and clear from people at work, they want all their communications available in Outlook — even if they send them from other apps. This is where Send comes in! Send gives you the simple, quick text message-like experience while allowing you to reach all co-workers and have all of your communications in Outlook for reference later.Send lets you quickly and easily send any co-worker a message without a subject line or formal email constructs.”
