Microsoft and Sony shocked the world when they announced that they were already planning on the next iterations of their consoles in the form of the Playstation Neo, and the Xbox One S, and Project Scorpio. While we haven’t seen nor heard much about either console (except for the Xbox One S) we have been given what their specs will be, although those are always subject to change. Another thing that fans can look forward to about the new consoles, will be the debut of VR(Virtual Reality), something that we’ve seen talked about with the Oculus Rift, and Samsung VR headset.

The launch price will play a very important part in the battle between MS Scorpio and Sony´s Playstation Neo console.
It’s pretty clear 2016 will be the year of VR for gamers and game developers who will be using it to create, or remake some of our favorite classics for next-gen consoles. As new consoles debut, tech-savvy fans always want to know what the Ram, processing power, video output, and even sound quality is looking like. So far, the specs look very impressive, but let’s take a closer look at each console and see what they’ll be offering to win the race.
From the chart (as seen in the picture above), you can see Microsoft is looking to launch with the bigger weapons out of the gate. One thing has always been proven throughout history with consoles concerning features, and compatibility, and that is: until it’s actually out on store shelves, you can take it for a grain of salt. Between the two consoles, Sony should definitely be looking to integrate its 4K resolution from its Sony Bravia television line, and Microsoft will most likely be utilizing Windows 10 to give players further support with PC compatibility.

Xbox One Scorpio is said to be 4.5 times as powerful as the original Xbox One (X1 Scorpio offers six teraflops of power). Well, we will know for sure when the Scorpio launches during the holidays next year.
As for here and now though, although neither console has a confirmed launch date other than Project Scorpio of Holiday 2017. One thing is for sure. And that would be the fact that both Sony and MS will try to take maximum advantage of the new chipsets, and motherboards that most definitely will hit the market for their systems. However, with Sony being based in Japan, and knowing they are one of the biggest manufacturers of advanced technology, will Microsoft keep even, or will Sony overlap MS yet again? Well, all we can do for now is to look forward to the systems and wait.
So, with that said. Which system are you most excited for? Project Scorpio, Playstation NEO, or the Xbox One S? Give us your thoughts in the comments below.
