It’s hard to believe that the “Assassin’s Creed” franchise turns 10 years old this year – and it’s even harder to think that Ubisoft have released at least one game in the series per year all this time. Considering the fact that all of these titles share a world shaped by historical fiction, magical artifacts and a conflict that has been raging for thousands of years, it’s understandable why people who haven’t kept up with the series would be thoroughly confused and intimidated by its lore. I’m sure that even a game like the freshly announced “Assassin’s Creed: Origins” (which promises to deliver a good jumping on point for beginners) will still have a good chunk of lore and references attached to it, which might be lost on some players.

Fear not, though! The people at www.bestonlinecasino.uk created an incredibly detailed and rather beautiful infographic detailing the entire history of the franchise up to this point, from its earliest point in history (around 75,000 years in the past) right up to present day, when the “Assassin’s Creed” movie takes place. Check it out!

That’s what I would call an interesting timeline.
