Swiss innovation delivers flexible, workable, fully game-ready digital twins, slashing traditional production times and costs.

Press release:
Bern, Switzerland – February 20 2020 – A world first! Playable asset production just got a whole lot faster, as SO REAL DIGITAL TWINS AG showcase the results of their patented scanning and conversion technology at the GDC 2020 event.

Automating the production of digital twins of 3D objects, SO REAL delivers final assets which are truly game-ready, and come complete with fully functioning physics and cool surprises and features to get inside the object and the technology – all whilst dramatically cutting the time and cost of traditional asset production.

Models created using SO REAL technology are light enough to use in AR apps, and delivered completely engine-ready. Patented scanning technology replicates every detail of the original item, including scuffs, rust and dents

SO REAL will be hosting an exclusive, invitation-only walkthrough at GDC to demo this unique technology which allows mass-production of cinematic-quality, game / XR-ready 3D assets for use in games, films, and XR experiences.

Kelly Vero, Head of Game Development, SO REAL DIGITAL TWINS AG commented, “We are super excited to be at GDC, decimating traditional production methods with our game-changing playable asset production tool”.

“With SO REAL XR, ‘what you see is what you get’ – you don’t have to spend days or weeks adding everyday bumps and scuffs to objects, we deliver exact 3D objects as you see in the real world – completely game ready”.

“Our end-to-end solution takes just days – or in some cases hours – to produce a digital twin of your object. SO REAL XR is going to be a complete revelation for developers, and the XR industry.”

For an exclusive behind the scenes demo with SO REAL CEO Ian Ravenshaw Bland and Kelly Vero, Head of Game Development, email our press team or visit SO REAL at the Swiss Pavilion N2903.
