The 11th edition of the Fun & Serious Game Festival opens its doors today in Bilbao, Spain, and will have a hybrid format for the first time. The indie video game event will be fully streamed in English through a dedicated page on Steam, allowing everyone to follow the conferences virtually, and displaying a wide selection of the best indie games developed in Spain in the recent years, with renowned and awarded titles like Blasphemous, Call of the Sea, Aragami 2, Deiland, Do Not Feed the Monkeys and many others.

The Fun & Serious Steam page will run for the duration of the festival, from December 10th to 11th, and will include special discounts, free demos, betas of titles currently in development and new video game announcements.

Amongst the speakers that will take part in this edition, we can find personalities from the video game industry like Maye Mac-Swiney, head of Communication and Marketing Strategy at Riot Games, who will dedicate his conference to Arcane: League of Legends; Dinga Bakaba, co-director of Deathloop, or the legend Tim Schafer, co-creator of Monkey Island. ABOUT THE FUN & SERIOUS GAMES FESTIVAL
Since 2011, the Fun&Serious Game Festival has brought to the city of Bilbao the most distinguished game creators and the most interesting games to discuss their ideas, celebrate their achievements, and pay homage to their careers. On top of that, it is the meeting place for the Spanish games industry, and a booster for the indie scene and young developers alike, with many talks, workshops, and networking activities aimed at strengthening the local industry fabric.
