The curtains have fallen on DevGAMM Lisbon 2023, marking an extraordinary chapter in the gaming industry.

With a diverse gathering of over 620 game industry professionals representing 341 companies from 44 countries, DevGAMM Lisbon was a true melting pot of innovation and camaraderie.

Over the course of two action-packed days the conference showcased more than 60 games, capturing the attention of 326 decision-makers, including C-level management, Founders, Lead, Top Management, and Senior participants. The PINE platform played host to 880 scheduled meetings, fostering meaningful connections and collaborations that will undoubtedly shape the future of gaming landscape.

DevGAMM Lisbon achieved a milestone with its inaugural VIP events. The VIP & Speakers Reception by Scorewarrior set the tone, followed by an unforgettable VIP Dinner by Epic Games in a historic hotel at a stunning location. The addition of a Golf Masterclass, catering to all skill levels, added a dynamic touch, ensuring a well-rounded and memorable experience for all attendees.

DevGAMM Lisbon 2023 was not just about numbers; it was a dynamic experience with 50 engaging sessions. A stellar lineup of speakers, including industry titans like Warren Spector (OtherSide Entertainment), Jonathan Blow (Thekla, Inc), Gabby Llanillo (Riot Games), Ilari Kuittinen (Housemarque), Dennis Micka (Guerrilla), Moritz Lehr (CD PROJEKT RED), and Sarah Beaulieu (Ubisoft), covered a diverse range of topics. These sessions delved into Game Design & Narrative, Business, Technology & Development, Marketing, Production, Indie & Post-mortems, Community, Art & Visual, UX & UI, Audio & Sound and more.

To round off the conference, the Main Party unfolded at a stunning marina in the heart of the old city, under the lighthouse. Attendees, dressed in blue and white to honor Portuguese game development, enjoyed a warm night of drinks and conversations.

DevGAMM’s 15th birthday concluded with a giant cake at the closing ceremony. The event wrapped up with champagne toasts, farewell hugs, and expressions of gratitude from attendees.

As we bid farewell to DevGAMM Lisbon, the excitement continues to build for the next installment – DevGAMM Gdansk 2024, scheduled for February 28 – 29. Game submissions are officially open, seize the opportunity to be a part of the excitement.
