BeyondTheSummit´s “The Summit 2” starts December 3^rd and ends December 7^th 2014. This international tournament, hosted in BTS house over in Los Angeles has raised USD$299,884 (prizetracker by Cyborgmatt) as of the time of writing, 3^rd December.

The previous Summit (which raised $50,570 in additional prize pool to a total of $130,570) was not an instant hit, but it was paving the way for the current Summit, which has now tripled its base prize money, up from 100k.

A NoobfromUA highlight video really shows you the synergy between the players and tournament to form a holistic picture of the Dota 2 scene.

I believe that the Summit 2 will only produce more interesting and hit moments. The BeyondtheSummit Team has put in insane amounts of work to set up their entire house into a LAN venue.
