I got some really good news to share with all you WWII FPS fans out there, because Square Enix just informed us that they have released the 12-month free content roadmap for Bulkhead Interactive’s WWII FPS MMO game “Battalion 1944“:
“We have some big updates about Battalion 1944 that I can share with you today.
Bulkhead Interactive are continuing to work hard on the game post-launch, and today have revealed a roadmap for the next 12 months of free content and major updates for players.
Since the successful launch in May Bulkhead are dedicated to supporting Battalions esports scene and they will be investing $650k into upcoming tournaments. Registration for The Plays summer Blitzkrieg Open and Premier Leagues are open for the next 10 days, with a $20k prize pool: http://theplays.gg/blitzkrieg-summer/ – and this is just the start.
There will be a double XP weekend from Friday to celebrate the next update and release of the roadmap. (Friday 26th July 12:00 BST – Monday 29th July 12:00 BST)

Other than that, Square Enix also had us know that there will be a lot happening on the esports scene in regards of “Battalion 1944” as well.
You see, Bulkhead is investing $650k into upcoming “Battalion 1944” tournaments. In other words, if you like “Battalion 1944” and esports, then keep your eyes and ears open for the upcoming “Battalion 1944” esports tournaments!
