I can´t help to think about Slayer´s song “Hell awaits” when i think about High Voltage Software (and Deep Silver´s) “Saints Row: Gat out of Hell” (you can buy the game via Steam for 19,99 Euro). But who can blame me for that really?
Because the whole theme of “Gat out of Hell”, would be a very “hellish” one. But is it the kind of hell that will bring you pleasure or pain?
Well, a little bit of both apparently. As Saints Row: Gat out of Hell has received very blended reviews (65-67% for PC, PS4 and Xbox One via Gamerankings). But according to Totalbiscuit, you get what you pay for.
“You’re getting what is says on the tin, a $20 expandalone that’s more of the same in a different setting. Musical numbers surprise, gun shoots bees. Hmm” – Totalbiscuit
But if you´re still somewhat insecure about “Saints Row: Gat out of Hell”. Then i would recommend you to watch Totalbiscuit´s “WTF Is… – Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell ?” video, because it´s pretty spot on imo.
About Saints Row: Gat out of Hell:
After the space faring antics of Saints Row IV, many fans asked what we could do next… the answer? Shoot The Devil in the face. Play as either Johnny Gat or Kinzie Kensington as you tear apart Hell in a quest to save the leader of the Saints’ soul.
Historical icons, old friends, older enemies, a talking gun, a full length musical number, and a whole lot of other shenanigans all await you in the open world standalone expansion playground that is Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell.
