I think it’s safe to say that there are a lot of new and old games to be found via Valve’s Steam platform. Even so, every now and then I find a game that truly stands out from the crowd.
Well, today was one of those days. You see, BigGame just informed us that Wooden Monkeys strategic simulation game “Save Koch” is out now for PC via Steam.
Furthermore, BigGame did so via this rather entertaining e-mail text of theirs:
“Hello, my dear old friend, It has been a while since we last wrote to each other, hasn’t it? I wish I could start this letter by saying that I miss you like hell, enquire after your family and remember the good old days, but I have to admit, there is another reason why I am writing to you right now.
To be blunt, I am in really deep shit. Someone has ordered a hit on your old pal, can you believe it? The bastards even planted a mole inside my base of operations, just to screw around with me.
My security team installed a ‘safe room’ for me, but to me, it’s nothing but a panic room. To make things worse, the moment I went into hiding, this lying bitch named Litso packed her broadcast with lies and slander about me.
I tried going to the mayor, but he ignores me, my own daughter is acting strange, and it’s beginning to seem like everyone around me is a traitor, and I’m running out of time. If I don’t untangle this web of intrigue in six days, I’m finished.
So god damn it, it seems that there is only one person in this rotten city that I can still trust and that my friend, is you. If you let me down, I guess the only option that I’ll have left is to put a bullet in my own head and isn’t that just a bit macabre.
Will you help me get to the bottom of this, for old times sake, bud? And if it’s too late – just tell the world the truth, please. It would be great to know your response before some scumbags sneak in some explosives under my bunker.” – BigGame
Other than that, BigGame’s also had us know that they uploaded the release trailer for “Save Koch” just recently (you will find the said trailer further down the page).
So with that said, are you excited about the launch of “Save Koch” via Steam?
