Today is a very good day for CD Projekt Red, because just recently (last night) they announced that their epic “The Witcher” RPG series had sold over 25 million copies since the launch of the first “The Witcher” title:
“Over 25 million copies of The Witcher games sold since the launch of the first title!” – The Witcher via Twitter
“For years we have consistently prioritized quality and focused on a limited range of products. The persistently strong sales of the entire The Witcher series vindicate our approach and contribute to long-term appeal of our releases. Between the launch of The Witcher in 2007 and the end of 2016 we have sold over 25 million copies of The Witcher games.” – Adam Kiciński, President of CD PROJEKT
In other words, it’s very likely that we’re going to see a sequel to “The Witcher 3” sometime in the future (one could hope!). Anyways, congratulations to CD Projekt Red for reaching this awesome sales milestone =) And with that said, what would you like to see happen next in “The Witcher” universe?
