It’s a sad day for Playstation TV lovers In Japan. As news recently hit that the mini console will not longer be shipping in the land of the rising sun, starting today. The device, which allows you to play your PS Vita and PS4 games remotely, failed to take off and gain a massive following since its release in 2013 for Japan, and the rest of the world in 2014. It’s biggest flaw was its lack of having several games becoming compatible with it, thus the lack of interest from its consumer base.
According to Sony’s official Japanese product page it’s been discontinued, however it’s still unclear what this means for the rest of the world. If you still wish to buy a PS TV, it is still available online from several retailers, but for how much longer is unknown.
