Press release:
As of September 30th, “Our Lovely Escape“, an eccentric slice of life visual novel by Top Hat Studios & Reine Works, has released on Steam.

The player can play as a man or woman and attempt to escape the average mediocrity of their everyday office life. They see their co-workers daily…but how well do they really know them?

The developer describes the story as the following; “Your life is a peaceful one. Each day, you work alongside your (otherwise?) all-female workforce in the pursuit of creating otome games.

Will you complete your life with a cute girlfriend, or will you be doomed to a life of normalcy? Find out in this (mostly…?) normal visual novel! Experience all the twists, turns, drama and…more of living a normal, office job life.” What else lies in store for our protagonist? Surely things can’t be as normal as they seem…right?

Unlike most English-produced visual novels, Our Lovely Escape also features art from Japanese Artists. CGs are also animated. The game is available in both English and Simplified Chinese.

The game is $9.99, with a 10% discount for a week from release. A free 18+ DLC patch is available through Steam. An artbook/guide is also available for $4.99, featuring hi-res art, original concepts and promo sketches, and a guide for the game.
