Following the release of otome visual novel “The Seven Districts of Sin: The Tail Makes the Fox” and yuri visual novel “The Wilting Amaranth”, female gaming-centered studio Reine Works and publisher Top Hat Sudios have partnered once again for the upcoming visual Novel “Our Lovely Escape“, an eccentric slice of life visual novel with both BxB and GxG routes for its 3 characters.

As of November 6th, it’s launched on kickstarter, scheduled to end in 30 days – the campaign has a goal of about $1143 USD ($1500 CAD), with the goal of producing extra bonus content and expansions for the project instead of funding the full game. Reine Works describes the story as the following; “Your life is a peaceful one. Each day, you work alongside your (otherwise?) all-female workforce in the pursuit of creating otome games. Will you complete your life with a cute girlfriend, or will you be doomed to a life of normalcy?

Find out in this (mostly…?) normal visual novel! Experience all the twists, turns, drama and…more of living a normal, office job life.” What else lies in store for our protagonist? Surely things can’t be as normal as they seem…right?

Unlike most English-produced visual novels, Our Lovely Escape also features art from Japanese Artists.
