Press release:
Youtuber insaneintherainmusic has released “Live at Grillby’s”, an official Undertale jazz cover album. Live at Grillby’s is officially approved and licensed by Toby Fox, Undertale’s sole game designer and music composer. The album features a guest appearance by the Australian video game jazz band The Consouls, as well as album art by Dark Darren. The album has been released on Bandcamp as of February 6th 2016, and will soon be available on other online music retailers.
Insaneintherainmusic has been uploading jazz remixes of video game music to his YouTube channel for several years. He is well-known for his Undertale remixes, including Ghost Fight, the theme to the player’s encounter with Napstablook in Undertale.
Live at Grillby’s captures the diversity of Undertale’s massive soundtrack, offering jazz-styled interpretations of several notable compositions. These arrangements range in style from smooth jazz to bebop, so there is something for everyone, even for those who are not current fans of jazz.
