The Netherlands – [June 3rd 2021].
The Netherlands-based indie games publisher and game developer 2Awesome Studio (2AS) is today very thrilled and happy to announce that their “Aeon Drive” and “Ak-xolotl” game titles has just joined the Guerrilla Collective 2021 event line-up.

The event will take place on June 5th @ 5pm CET / 8am Pacific Time and will be broadcasted live on Twitch. New gameplay trailers will be premiering at the event, alongside the release of an updated free public demo – going live on Steam at the start of the event – for Aeon Drive and Ak-xolotl.

For Aeon Drive, there will also be an exclusive content creator demo that can be requested over at [email protected].

Aeon Drive

Partnered with publishing label CRITICAL REFLEX, Aeon Drive debuts a new trailer & gameplay demo at Guerilla Collective!

Set in the neon-colored landscape of Neo Barcelona, Aeon Drive is an action platformer with a speedrunning twist! Whether solo or with up to 4 friends, sprint and dash through many areas of the neon-infused city – and use your time and space-bending abilities to get ahead.

You’ll play as Jackelyne, a young space ranger from another dimension. Desperately trying to get home, she crash-lands her spaceship into the middle of a bustling metropolis, Neo Barcelona. With the power sword, teleportation dagger and unique skill to control time, Jackelyne has to find all the Drive Cores to fix her ship – and save the city from impending doom.

Aeon Drive is set to release in 2021 for PC and all major consoles.

AK-xolotl

AK-xolotl is a top-down arcade battle arena shooter, co-develop by Daniel Piqueras and 2Awesome Studio, featuring the cutest amphibian. You’re an axolotl with an AK (duh!) that goes on a rampage, shooting down their next meal! And your goal? To dominate the leaderboard, of course.

Face off against increasingly chaotic waves of walking preys, with the aid of powerful weaponry and abilities. In single-player and co-op modes, hunt your meal and feed the baby axolotl who looks insanely bad-ass with a gun.

Want to impress your friends? The more enemies you demolish, the higher your score! Keep it going and you’ll be splashing onto the leaderboards in no time.

Fun fact: Did you know Axolotls can regenerate their limbs?
