The Guangzhou-based (China) video games publisher NetEase Games and indie games developer Legendary Star Studio (which is a team with extensive experience in FPS and RPG gameplay genres), today announced with great thrill and happiness that they have just kicked-off the closed beta for their upcoming adventure shooter/MMORPG “Ashfall“.

The said multi-platform closed beta is available right now for PC via Steam and iOS & Android devices for gamers in the US between August 3rd and August 19th.

Players could experience the game’s single-player story content, multiplayer instances, single-player Secret Realm maps, guild Secret Realm and a PVP map during the test. To access the beta test, please visit www.ashfall-game.com.

“Ashfall” is a post-apocalyptic MMORPG themed in Wasteland genre. As a third-person shooter game, players on both PC and mobile are able to join their friends on adventures in the wasteland, with crossplay allowing them to play at home or on the go.

During the Closed Beta, players can experience the single-player story content up to level 40, as well as the 4 multiplayer instances, 4 single-player Secret Realm maps, 1 guild Secret Realm, and 1 PVP map. Players can activate the talent combination they want in the talent system, craft, match, and enhance their equipment in town, shape their unique combat style by drawing, equipping, and overclocking chips, and recruit companions to fight alongside them during their adventures.
