Set in the heart of a gritty post-communist countryside, the game puts players in charge of a small garage struggling to survive in difficult times. Money is tight, customers expect miracles for next to nothing, and every repair becomes a battle between honesty, creativity, and profit.

In this world, spare parts are always „somewhere nearby” – any piece of metal can be adjusted to fit, repairs should preferably be done immediately, and if the car leaves the workshop in one piece that usually counts as success. Cheap Car Repair is a humorous mechanic simulator inspired by the everyday absurdities of the early post-communist era – a time when improvisation wasn’t just useful, but necessary.

Cheap Car Repair recreates the atmosphere of 1990s former communist block, where local car garages became unofficial community hubs and mechanics were forced to invent solutions to problems nobody really knew how to solve properly yet.
